Description
The Hohensand restaurant is managed by our family since 1905. Chef Michael, Anne and our Team make every effort to make everyone feel comfortable in our restaurant. We serve classic german cuisine and seasonal dishes from the region, such as asparagus in late spring, vension in autum or goose around christmas.

There were four of us sitting outside. The view across the lawn to the Ilmenau River and beyond to meadows, bushes and ancient trees is simply heavenly and totally relaxing. We have had four different dishes. Each was very good. I've been here in winter and ate mussels, never as good as here. It's nicer outside than inside, but I would definitely recommend the restaurant.

Nothing about the apartments, The restaurant has lost its grip. The price / performance ratio does not fit at all. I expect more from dishes in this price range. Performance of a village inn with prices like a star restaurant! Not recommendable !!!!!
